CCI Strategy using Stochastic and WPR
CCI Strategy using Stochastic and WPR
Author: eMoe
This strategy uses a modification of the standard logic of CCI indicator usage. In addition to the CCI Indicator, it watches the values of the Stochastic Indicator (%D Line), and the WPR indicator. Instead of opening positions when CCI crosses a level (100 or -100), it opens the Sell positions when CCI crosses the Stochastic %D from above, and Buy positions when it crosses the WPR from below. I am using the default periods.
P.S.: This wasn't my own idea. Many thanks to black.

It took me a long time to search on the web, only your site open up the fully details, bookmarked and thanks again.

Hi! I don't have any problems with hedging. I think that you should contact with your broker and ask if hedging is available for you (on your system). Best regards!

Hello eMoe,
Thanks for the strategy, I tested it, and it was working quite well, but when I started to use in real I realize that instead to hedge a position it close the previous opposit one, Have you got the same problem before?
Would appreciate for a reply.

I have added trailing stops to this strategy. See the script: http://www.actfx.com/Download50092.aspx

Dear kesk, when you select 1 lot, this means that every time when a new position will be opened, the amount of this position will be 1 lot. In order to limit the number of positions that can be opened by a strategy, you need to use several additional conditions in this strategy.
Thanks for the strategy. I am running this one on a 1min time frame and selected 1 lot size.
I see that, it opens many positions(8 in all) and many more orders are waiting(4) to open.
What I want is only 1 order open at any one time and only when the signal crosses the other side, another order to be opened.
Which part of the code opens the multiple positions.
I am a programmer, but this new language is difficult to understand.
Would appreciate for a reply.
